Everybody remembers Bob "Sweet Daddy" Long

Another historic icon that broadcasted from behind the microphone at WCIN 1480AM on your radio dial. The ride to work or the time you spent getting the young ones ready for school were always entertaining when "Sweet Daddy" was on the air.

  2. Hello,
I enjoyed WCIN throughout my teen years and young adult years and I especially LOVED coming home after working a long shift at Frisch's and turning on Symphony Sid Kennedy's program which I think came on at midnight or 1am. He played real early stuff 20s, 30s through the 50s...Anyway, I've always wondered what became of him and who he was. I "google" his name every now and then but have found nothing. I wrote Lincoln Ware once to ask but didn't receive an answer. Do you know anything about him?

    1. The last I heard was that Bob "Sweet Daddy" Long was in the Atlanta area and had experience some health challenges. Please join the WCIN family in keeping him and his family in your prayers...and thanks for viewing this post..
